Walking on GR34 along the coastal path of Brittany, France

The GR34 is a trail also called the Sentier des Douaniers following the 1800 km of coastline encircling Brittany.All along the GR34 encircling the whole Brittany the landscape is stunning. 
The 1st 7 walking stages from Granville to Saint Malo, start on the border between Normandy and Brittany : this hike used to be walked by the former pilgrims, eternal travellers and dreamers. Stunning natural beauty : walk along rocky headlands, beaches and woodland valleys with the seagulls as fellow travelers. The highlight of this leg is the emotions that rise while approching the Mont Saint Michel Bay. You will expliore this area with a guide expert of the place that will take you accross this exceptional environment (barefoot and short needed). Dol de Bretagne boasts its amazing medieval houses lining the main street but what is striking is the hulking, defensive 13th century Cathedral.










The following 7 stages from Saint Malo to Saint Brieuc also follows GR34 along the Emerald Coast in its highest part overlooking from the top of the cliffs the Ocean. In this part 2 the walk follows the dramatic Emerald Coast and the famous Frehel Cape,the pink cliffs of Erquy.On the Unesco List since the 70s.these Natural sites have been  Reserve for seabirds. The fortified places as Fort La Latte and renown sea resorts are the backdrop of this hiking tour that will enjoy Nature lovers.






















The following stages after Saint Brieuc reach the Pink Granite Coast considered as one of the most beautiful coasts in France offers an unusual landscape of strange shaped granite chaos.
